USB not working after Ubuntu 18.04 update on laptop

The arrival of new updates through the update manager resulted in a reboot of the machine. After loading, it turned out that the mouse and keyboard did not work, but the regular ones from the laptop remained in working order. Keyboard works in bios. It also works until the system boots. Rolling back to a previous version also makes everything work normally.

It was decided to try to pull the version of the usb.ids file from the repository:

sudo update-usbids

After installation, you should reboot.

Как вариант это может происходить из-за неизвестного usb устройства. В моём случае это usb хаб. Побороть проблему не вышло, пришлось отказаться от хаба.
